Dr. Michael Johnson, a Biblical Studies Professor at Mississippi College, began two years ago bringing his students to help us in Bible Club. This has been a wonderful blessing of laborers to the fields that are white with harvest. We have also seen the blessing it has been to the students. God is using HIS Heart in the lives of the students to call and prepare them for missions around the world. One of our former dedicated Bible Club workers is in China today and another is in Taiwan, and others will be going soon.
Dr. Johnson opened the door for us to participate in Centrifuge coming to Mississippi College in the summer. HIS Heart became the mission's center for centrifuge students who signed up for the mission track. HIS Heart and the St. Luther's M. B. Church had six weeks of special Bible Clubs for the children of our neighborhood involving over 200 Centrifuge students from 12 states. Students from Centrifuge are returning and we praise God for the laborers who returned to our community. We praise God for this wonderful opportunity with students from around the south loving the children of West Park. www.fuge.com |

AT&T recently provided us with a magnificent grant to rebuild our web-site and purchase computers and software to modernize our non-profit. We are very grateful to the AT&T Foundation for giving us the ability to more effectively minister to our community through technology. http://www.att.com/gen/corporate-citizenship?pid=7736 |

His Way, Inc. has provided HIS Heart with many grants that have enabled us to do most of what we do. They purchased a 28 passenger bus for us that enabled us to pick up the children for Bible Club and Church. They have also provided us with grant money for after-school supplies, computers, special events for the children and much much more. We are forever grateful for the incredible, positive impact His Way has had on our ministry. |

The Junior League of Jackson |

The Junior League of Jackson has partnered with Calvary Baptist Church to offer experiences for the Bible Club children. The Junior League provides "Girls Night Out" at Calvary two times a month for the young girls. The Hinds County Sheriff's Department provides transportation and security. Special programs and events are provided for the 25 girls, such as taking the girls to have their hair styled. The girls love it. The boys often ask us why there is no Boy's Night Out.
The Junior League provides a weeklong Arts Camp for approximately 80 of the inner-city children. Professionals in the areas of karate, dance, music, art, drama and gymnastics teach classes during one week in July. On Thursday night, the children perform at a recital for their parents.
Our other partnerships with the Junior League include a school supply give away and ACT prep workshops. One thousand back packs and supplies were given to the children of West Park from Calvary through the Junior League. Eighty high school students participated in the last ACT prep workshop. Our partnership with the Junior League has been a wonderful blessing. www.jljackson.org |

We partner with this fine church that helps provide the second Bible Club site in our community. This partnership with St. Luther's has proven to be a wonderful Kingdom adventure in sharing hearts and ministry with this wonderful family of faith. |
